goremod menu help

i have downloaded the most recent goremod and i am having trouble getting the goremod menu up. I have tried getting rid of all my other mods aswell but it still doesnt work. can someone tell me exactly what to type as the other posts havnt made it very clear i think.

Put the Steam ID of the person you want the menu to come up for.

also, when i change settings in my cfg file nothing happens. the ingame settings stay the same, even though the cfg file says different

When you change the settings you have to change level, or type rcon gore_load in console. Make sure you are changing them in cfg/goremod/goremod.cfg

Also, try gore_menu with and without the quotes.

Finaly, whenever I copy my steam id from the output of typing 'status', it always seems to copy one character less, make SURE it is exactly correct!

right the ragdolls have reverted back to not dissapearing when they are hs and grenaded. i think its mani admin because when anything of mani admi is switched on ie: quake sounds, tk protection etc. goremod doesnt work properly. solution?

im going to try goremod on its own
gonna completely remove all other mods

now my entire counterstrike source is buggered up every level is completely dark even with the flashlight and i have deleted all the mods. im not gonna use goremod again i think
