Elite Prodigy - a way to remember.

I have finally preserved a piece of my first life online.

Between 2001 and 2004, as a teenager using the name c0ldfyr3, I built Elite Prodigy: a software-download site, programming resource, forum and wider network for an early Yahoo and Visual Basic community.

The surviving archive contains 3,259 capture records. One 2002 snapshot shows 581,447 total downloads; by 2003, Darks Revenge 2 alone had passed 100,000. The site distributed software, missing dependencies and source material, answered programming questions, hosted communities and routed traffic to hundreds of adjacent sites.

Then it disappeared. For years I mostly remembered the loss and the path I did not take. This is an attempt to preserve what actually existed before I put that story down.
