problem

I have a linux server and its runnin mani and cssdm. I have loaded the goremod with all the files in the right place, but when I try and load the goremod it says

GoreMod cannot be started after server initialisation has occured.
Restart the server to start GoreMod !

but restartin the server does nothin.

If the line is inserted in metaplugins.ini, BEFORE you try and use the load command, when you type 'meta list' in your console it should list the currently running plugins.

What does it report ?

yea it list dm but not the goremod

Doesnt list it at all ?

That means something is up with your metaplugins.ini file in addons/metamod/

It should say either RUN, FAIL or NOFILE all three of which are explained @ http://www.c0ld.net/GoreMod/Docs/

I cant find anything wrong do u have any other ideas.

o and one more question I have the dm mod loaded on the server is it normal to have to load the mod up on every restart.

No, you should never ever have to load a plugin unless you are adding a new plugin and you dont want to restart the server first.

If this is the case, then its not reading metaplugins.ini file.
It should be cstrike/addons/metamod/metaplugins.ini

If it was reading it, it would at least have a line in meta list for it, with FAIL, RUN or NOFILE.

addons/goremod/bin/goremod_mm

Thats the line that should be there for Gore.

thats werid I have it in the right place I dont know why its not reading it.
is there a certain formatt it has to be?
